DESIGNATION: Sustainability Manager / (ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance Manager)
DEPARTMENT: Management
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Sustainability manager is responsible for developing and implementing sustainable practices within an organization. This includes analyzing the environmental impact of business operations and creating strategies to reduce the organization’s carbon footprint, waste, and resource use. The sustainability manager also works to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards and engages with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.

Principle accountabilities, role, and responsibilities: –
 Develop and implementation of sustainability framework for the entire group.
 Environmental Monitoring, Waste management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental training and awareness, Environment risk assessment and mitigation, regulatory compliance.
 Internal and External audits, review meetings and Training and Awareness Programs related to Total Quality Management (TQM).
 Developing and implementing strategies and policies to reduce the organization’s environmental impact.
 Tracking and reporting on the organization’s environmental performance
 Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including executives, operations managers, and employees, to promote sustainable practices and encourage behavior change.
 Engaging with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, customers, and community members, to promote sustainable practices and build partnerships.
 Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards
 Managing sustainability projects and initiatives, including setting goals, allocating resources, and monitoring progress
 Communicating the organization’s sustainability performance and goals to stakeholders, both internally and externally
 Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sustainability, and recommending new approaches and technologies to improve the organization’s sustainability performance.
 Engagement with regulatory bodies to expedite required legal permits and timely renewal of the legal documents.
 GHG (Greenhouse gases) emissions accounting, Net Zero Strategy and road map, CDP reporting (Carbon Disclosure Project), Sustainability Linked Bond (SLB) and SPO (Sustainability Principles and Objectives) and GHG data management.
 Establishing and implementing IMS (Integrated Management System) in accordance to ISO
9001-2015, ISO14001-2015 and OHSAS 18001-2018.
 Management of environmental data, data verification & assurance, performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders e.g.CDP, OGP, annual reports and accounts.
 ESG Development of ESG indicators, policies and reporting, Zero Waste to Landfill, Net Water Positive, Net Zero Emission, GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) reporting.
 Documentation and implementation of requirement of various product conformity certificates.
 Set environmental requirements in scope of work during tendering, evaluation of bids and managing contractors for implementation of environmental requirements.
 Climate Change Report, Sustainability Report, HSE Reports, Environ-mental performance report and other reports related to HSE, ESG and Sustainability.
 Developing corporate standards, guidelines, and tools to achieve organization vision and policy commitments.
 Lead a diverse workforce.
 Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
 All ad hoc tasks and projects designated by the Deputy CEO
 Work under the direction of the Deputy CEO.
 Strong leadership experience and skills with the ability to provide direction to others
 Exceptional analytical skills for problem solving as well as excellent communication skills

 07-10 years of work experience in Similar Profile with pleasant personality.
 High Level of Integrity.
 02-04 years of experience in Heavy Manufacturing Industry Experience
 Master/ Graduation – Environmental Science and Sustainability or Environment and Sustainability Management
